Anytime you play a song in this app, using any of the methods described here , it opens the media player player. The media player itself is the central part of the page, where it shows the song that is playing. The media player is mostly modeled after the YouTube player. While playing the songs, if the app sees that a song is not ready to play from Smule, it changes the state of the song and skips to the next one. This is explained in song states .
