Playlist
Playlists are a way for you to group a few songs and play them repeatedly.
This app makes playlists easier to use:
- You can add and remove songs from a playlist with a single tap.
- You can add a list of songs that you see anywhere in the app to a playlist, with a single tap.
Creating a new playlist
You can add and remove playlists from the Songs tab - Playlists option. Playlist names can contain English letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens. They can be up to 16 characters long.
"Current" playlist
The app always knows the "current" playlist, whichever tab you are on. You can set the 'current' playlist from Songs tab - Playlist page.
The app creates a playlist called 'Default' that cannot be removed. This would be the current playlist, by default.
Adding/Removing individual songs to a playlist
Just tap on playlist_add under any song. This would add that song to the current playlist. The icon would change to playlist_remove once you add it.
Add hundreds of songs with a single tap
While playing any list of songs, you can add all the songs in the list to the current playlist.
Tap on playlist_add at the top of the page. This will add all the playable songs in the list to the current playlist. If some songs are already in the current playlist, they are not included in the 'songs added' count.
Once the songs have been added to the current playlist, the icon changes to playlist_remove and you can remove all the songs in the list from the current playlist.
How do I rename a playlist
Select the playlist you want to rename. Create a new playlist with the name you want. Select the chekbox that says "Include songs from ...". Once the new playlist is created, remove the old playlist.
Playable songs in playlist
With 1.3 version, only playable songs are allowed to be added to a playlist.
But, unplayable songs can be in a playlist from a previous release.
To remove such unplayable songs from a playlist, select the playlist from the songs tab and in the searchbox, type:
You can then tap on 'remove from playlist' icon under the songs.
